The Programme Management Office (PMO) Team is both supportive and commanding. It can serve as an information portal for the projects it supports in its supportive function. The PMO team contributes value through its staff’s knowledge, experience, and skills, and can play a vital role in coordinating program and project assurance activities, including the scheduling of Gateway reviews. The PMO can also play the role of project assurance for projects at the program level, ensuring that appropriate alignment and controls are in place when modifications are planned and implemented.
