Organic search engine optimization (SEO), paid search engine optimisation (PPC – Pay Per Click), e-mail marketing, digital content marketing, and display ads may all intersect with affiliate marketing. Publishers routinely ignore affiliate marketing. While search engines, e-mail, and website syndication get a lot of attention from online retailers, affiliate marketing gets a lot less. Affiliates, however, continue to play an important role in e-retailers’ marketing strategies.
