In a blog post, the text is written based on a theme or keywords, and then it is formatted and accompanied by an image. The only options remaining are to publish it immediately or to postpone it at a later time. Are you at a loss for words? Because draft versions are automatically saved, all you need to do is quickly jot down an idea and complete it when you have the time. Remember to add a blog section to your website to display the posts.

  1. Go to your HostRooster product page.
  2. Scroll to Website Builder and select Manage next to your website to open your site.
  3. In your Dashboard, go to Marketing, then Blog.
  4. Select Create Post.
  5. Now it’s time to write your post!
    • You should begin with the title. It should not only include the keyword that best represents your primary thought but also provide readers with a sense of the value they will derive from reading your content. It is required that your title be under 65 characters.
    • Add text. Use a tone of voice that is more conversational when writing, and make use of headers to divide the concepts. Select the text you want to format and connect, and then highlight it.
    • With your cursor in the text area, use the + to add images, video or a divider. Add a stock image or video, or one of your own images or videos. Learn more about creating a professional-looking image.
    • Upload the photograph you want to feature. Not only does it appear in the post itself, but it is also visible on the blog area of your website.
    • Pick a category, or add a new category. Categories allow you to create multiple blogs on your site.
  6. When you are ready to show your post to the rest of the world, choose either Publish or Set Publish Date from the drop-down menu. When the confirmation window appears, you will have the option to select View Post in order to see how the post appears to readers of your blog.
